A New Look

Lydia has lived with plain white painted walls for her 5 years of life.  Plus her room still had remnants of what it was before she was born--storing DVD shelves, and a huge picture of the Beatles hanging on the wall.  We finally had the chance to turn it into a girly room, all her own.  Here are some pictures of a semi-completed project.  Next week I will paint her doors, a bookshelf, and some art to hang on her wall.

Going, Going, Gone

We have just experienced over a 100° shift in temperature, from last week to this (-35° in Bartlesville to 70s° all over the area). Between February 1st and 9th we saw 20+ inches of snow fall, shutting schools down for 10 full days! Now it is practically flip-flop weather. I even had to run my A/C for a bit today (I think it got up to about 78°!). I am ready for spring, but you never know, we could have more snow in March. That's Oklahoma for ya'!
