Snow Day!

Well, we finally got some snow!  We thought it was just going to be ice.  On Monday night it iced and then on Tuesday night we got a little bit of snow on top.  So the kids wanted to go out and play in it.

Oh, well, I am glad for what little snow we got.  It is so pretty and makes it feel like winter.

Fun for the Whole Family!

We were at a friend's house the other day and they all had homemade blow guns.  The kids all had a blast shooting darts at each other.

So Ty wanted one, too.  We ran over to Lowe's and bought one length (10 ft.) of 1/2 inch PVC pipe.  They cut it into 2 foot lengths at the store.  Then we bought a package of Nerf darts at Walmart.

Fun for the whole family for under $10!  But be careful, they do hurt (ask me how I know).  :)

Ty requested a Mars cake. We placed some Lego aliens and astronauts on it and some gum drops to look like energy crystals.
